HOW TO REACH US IN SALINA
Located in the center of the Aeolian archipelago, Salina can be reached from Naples (ship with overnight trip and arrival in the morning and a summer catamaran service in about 5 hours), from Milazzo via ferries and hydrofoils, and also from Messina, Reggio Calabria, Palermo and Vibo Valentia by hydrofoil. The most convenient airport is Catania.
MOVING ON THE ISLAND
Once on the island, internal mobility is guaranteed by public transport. About 200 meters away from Le Casette di Malfa there are two bus stops, one in front of the church of San Lorenzo towards Pollara / Leni / Rinella and one beside the Banca Intesa San Paolo towards Santa Marina / Lingua.
Getting here from the port of Santa Marina
Take the road to Malfa, and drive along SP 182 for about 6.5 km; straight after a left-hand bend you will find the sign for Malfa, and another 300m on the sign for Le Casette di Malfa. Take the exit on the left and after about 400 m, again on the left you will see the private road which takes you straight to Le Casette di Malfa.
Getting here from the port of Rinella
Take the road to Malfa and drive along the SP 182 for about 4 km; you go past Leni, and after the hamlet of Valdichiesa the road starts to descend to Malfa; pass the junction for Pollara and continue on towards Malfa, and shortly you will see the sign for the town of Malfa; ahead is a wide curve down to the left, and shortly after you will reach the church of San Lorenzo; just beside the church you will see the sign for Le Casette di Malfa, take the narrow road from the church and proceed along it for about 150 m, then turn left where there is a bottleneck, and finally some 300 m further on the right you will see the private road which takes you straight to Le Casette di Malfa.
